Who is it for?
Parents or caregivers, teenagers up to 16 years, with specific concerns about their child’s behavior or who are simply interested in general information about promoting their child’s healthy development.
What is covered?
In this workshop, parents will learn the positive influence you can have on your child by talking to them about waiting to have sex, help parents feel more comfortable talking to their child about sex, allow parents to learn from each other, and give some practical tips for talking to your children.
Parents are given specific ideas about teaching their teenagers the following skills:
• Being confident.
• Being socially skilled.
• Teaching responsibility.
• Increased communication.
• Develop a sense of self.
• Access to information.
