Miami, FL, May 12, 2023 – Be Strong International, an award-winning non-profit serving South Florida families for more than 30 years, has been selected as the partner charity by the BNI Foundation and the Misner Family Foundation, to raise funds for the organization. The announcement took place during the Awards Gala, within the frame of the BNI Foundation Annual National Conference in Miami, FL.
Be Strong International was chosen due to their successful youth programs and active participation with BNI at the local level. “The BNI Foundation and the Misner Family Foundation both focus on children and education” said Dr. Ivan Misner, the world-renowned founder of BNI, who was also in attendance. “We are proud to partner with Be Strong International, a great organization with a 30-year trajectory of community work”, concluded Misner.
Be Strong International has been an active member of several BNI chapters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties for the past 3 years. “We are so thankful to the BNI Foundation and the Misner Family Foundation for this generous award,” said Michelle Shirley, CEO and Chief Heart Officer of Be Strong International. “This recognition not only validates the importance of our work with young people and their families, but it also provides vital financial assistance to expand this program in South Florida.”
